The We Press Pause movement exists to support Moms.

I created this shop because I love coffee. I love writing. I love subtle influence.

What lights up my soul is helping Moms find a way to reconnect with themselves and maintain healthy minds.

How we think about what's happening around us is powerful influence.

As a single Mom since 2009, keeping my mind right is everything.

There's power, wisdom, and clarity waiting for Mama Bears when we stop and choose to turn some love and support in our own direction.

If I look for my name on any "this needs my time or attention today" list, many days, I don't make the top 5. Honestly there are days I don't even make it on the list.

Before I can show up for anyone else, I gotta show up for me.

Moms matter.

Moms have to "people" everyday.

One particularly troublesome day lost in Instagram reels, I came across a quote and The Cunning Linguist shop was born.

I take regular household items that most Mama Bears reach for when their feet hit the floor and repurposed it.

The mug matters on days when we just want to reach for our blankey without explanation or apology.  Coffee mugs don't judge us.

My morning tradition, while it's quiet, my morning mug choice is sacred for me. The house is quiet. I'm the first one up. It's a new day. This mug is a touchstone reminder of this new fresh start full of possibilities.

Over time, I've expanded to have candles, tumblers, water bottles, and digital products because these mini billboards stay in front of us and promote presence and mindfulness.

I call this retail exercise, The Presence Project.
